Melissa Pandeli

Melissa Pandeli was admitted into practice in 2002. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University in 2000. She became an Accredited Family Law specialist in 2007.

Melissa has more than 14 years experience working in the area of family and de facto relationship law. She has been employed by Barbayannis Lawyers since 2001. Melissa is highly experienced and regarded, and is additionally on the panel of Independent Children’s Lawyers. As an Independent Children’s Lawyer she has a special interest in advocating for the best interests of children in parenting disputes. She has experience in advocacy, court procedure and otherwise extensive experience in a broad range of financial, child support and children’s matters.

Melissa believes that it is imperative that lawyers are sensitive to family dynamics and that children are protected and their interests are properly represented. She aims to handle her clients’ matters in a cost-effective and timely manner whilst ensuring their goals and objectives are met.

Being a senior practitioner, Melissa is actively involved in mentoring junior lawyers at Barbayannis Lawyers so that they have the benefit of her extensive experience.
