Evonne Bethavas

Evonne was admitted to practice in 2015 and joined Barbayannis Lawyers in May 2020.

Prior to practising exclusively in family law, Evonne worked for a top-tier international firm in their Tax & Legal team. This experience has provided Evonne with the ability to view family law property matters through a commercial lens, navigating issues with a very practical approach.

Since commencing a career in family law in 2018, Evonne has represented clients in a broad range of matters involving simple and complex parenting issues, Hague Convention and child abduction issues, simple and complex property matters and Financial Agreements. Evonne also has extensive experience working for a community legal centre where she gained valuable experience in matters dealing with domestic violence and intervention orders.

With a love for both people and the law, Evonne approaches her practice with compassion and understanding. She believes in achieving excellent outcomes for her clients without compromising on their personal needs.
